Hey! My name is Malachi Minks, I am a cinematographer, editor, and many other creative things. I am part of the team at Pixelbox Visual design, a video agency based out of the greater Milwaukee area. I have worked with Pixelbox since 2022 as a DP, Editor, 1st AC, Grip, and many other roles. I have been a part of a wide variety of projects, from being a DP for a centennial advertisement piece for a college, to being the lead editor on an award winning international release video of a Case IH tractor. At Pixelbox, I collaborate with a team possessing diverse skillsets, creating artful and visually engaging content. I enjoy good movies, film photography, hiking, coffee culture, a good croissant, art, design, and fashion.

My journey with cinematography started when I was 13. I fell in love with creating LEGO stop-motion videos and editing the photos together to tell stories. After several years of doing that I began to shoot and edit real life videos, documenting events in my life.

I graduated from university with a degree in digital media and freelanced for a while during that time. I also did an internship where I learned many valuable skills in leading and pushing myself creatively.

I’m always looking for new ways to express myself creatively and innovate and I look forward with excitement to what opportunities may come.
